Trauma often has us in a state of trying to protect ourselves, resulting in tense muscles and a brain that's constantly in overdrive. Trauma-informed yoga allows for a safe space where you can become aware of what's going on in your body, allowing you to then tap into your emotions.

The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root yuj, meaning "to yoke," or "to unite." A running theme within yoga is connection; this can mean a connection to yourself, to your healing journey, or even to the Universe. My hope, for you, is that you take what you experience + learn, while on your mat, into your every life.

Yoga allows you to discover what already lives inside of you, showing you that you're already whole + complete.

What are the benefits of yoga?

Our bodies naturally heal themselves when we allow it - yoga helps get you out of your mind and into your body, and this is when healing can begin.

Stress management, which can help with chronic pain, sleeping issues, and the inability to concentrate (brain fog).

Deepen your healing journey by connecting your mind, body, and consciousness.

A regular yoga practice promotes mental clarity + calm, increases body awareness, and helps to relieve chronic stress.

Take time for themselves so they can show up as their best-selves for those who need them.

Creating a practice of being present, mindful, and aware of your own body.

My physical yoga studio is located in Harmony, Minnesota with my official opening date on August 1, 2023!
