A running theme within yoga is connection; this can mean a connection to yourself, to your healing journey, or even to the Universe. Our hope for you is that you take what you experience + learn, while on your mat, into your everyday life.

Imagine practicing yoga with the sole purpose of getting to know your body's language and loving yourself as you are, right now. Our society has us believing that spending time on ourselves isn't productive... but I I believe that's the most productive thing we can ever do.

I also had a Reiki Session with Bobbi and it was amazing. It helped move me past some blocks I was having and helped to allow new energy in. Trauma.
I had an aversion to this word for a few solid decades. I didn't want to admit I experienced trauma or that life had thrown me several curveballs that knocked me down. I didn't WANT the damn trauma so I ignored it and developed coping mechanisms like becoming disconnected from my feelings... and my body.
You never know who has been through trauma because, as a society, we've gotten so good at hiding it. My trauma-informed lens allows me to interact with, and cue, students in a way that hopefully allows them to feel safe in their bodies. It's my hope that practicing with me offers space for healing trauma instead of triggering it.
